Our Vision
Dream River Ranch is an intentional community centered on a quality horse facility. We have created a society based on consideration for others where diversity and acceptance of others is a priority. This is a place where learning and creativity are encouraged; where we are committed to conflict resolution through consensus; and where we are dedicated to being good stewards of our environment.

An Intentional Community

a view of the Danskins

Dream River Ranch is the vision of six people, who decided that combining their resources could make their dreams of an intentional horse community become real.

We have come a long way since we first moved out to our ranch. There are projects we have actually completed! Although, to be honest, nothing is truly ever done. See our BLOG to keep up with what we are currently doing. When we first moved in these things: chickens, and an organic vegetable garden, were just dreams. Now, as you can see, they have become realities.

Eventually in addition to a quality horse facility, we also plan to have a dojo for our Kendo enthusiasts, a retreat center featuring our two tipis, a japanese garden and more.

Of course, there is still much to do before these dreams are all realized.

As they say "poco a poco se crucen el mar." Little by little we cross the ocean.

all is in order

Even though Dream River Ranch, like any ranch, is going to be a lot of hard work, we believe that working together in community we can make our vision come true. And this vision will work to spread good things, not only in our lives, but in the lives of all we touch through riding lessons, S.H.E. Therapy riding therapy, through our organic garden, through sharing our facilities and retreat center with others. And it will all be worth while.
